Fat Square
2024 - fiddle & electronics
Fat Square was made during the golden hours of August 2024 at the Harlow House Home Studio. The title comes from a quilting term that I mis-remembered! ( the actual term is a "Fat Quarter" which is a big piece of pre-cut fabric that quilters usually buy in variety packs of different patterns and textures.)
anyway !
the mis-remembered name stuck and out came 24 bespoke, quilted “Fat Squares” - or soft media! A collection of recycled fabrics, quilted and embroidered as record covers.
